In our commitment to medical education, our program recruits and trains surgeons in the areas of advanced gastrointestinal and minimally invasive surgery through the Bariatric Surgery Fellowship. For one year our fellows train under board-certified surgeons to develop skills and competencies in the comprehensive treatment of patients with morbid obesity and obesity-related diseases. Upon completion of training, our fellows are equipped to become leaders in their field and may go on to establish comprehensive programs for the treatment of obesity and minimally invasive surgery.
